All Warwood Tool specializes in a variety of tools for general and specialty construction applications including hoes, chisels, hammers, drift pins, sledges, wrenches & more that are proudly made in U.S.A.
- Brass hammers are durable, cast heads that should be used in place of steel hammers in any metal working application.
- The non-marring soft face brass head helps absorb impact and reduces, or eliminates, work material damage.
- Brass is a non-sparking material that is safe to use near combustible materials.
- Bronze/Copper heads are also available, and are even softer than Brass. They will not mar harder metals, and are also safe around combustible materials where non-sparking hammers are required.
The cold chisel is a tool with a cutting edge at one end for cutting, shaping and removing metal softer than the cutting edge itself, and a struck face on the opposite end. Never use cold chisels for cutting or splitting stone or concrete. Never use a dull chisel or one with a mushroomed head.
Hand Drilling Hammers
These heavy, short-handled hammers are made in slightly varying configurations. The double-faced head has crowned and beveled striking faces. Hand drilling hammers are designed for use with chisels, punches, star drills and hardened nails. Their design permits heavy blows with limited swing – especially advantageous in restricted working areas. Never use hand drilling hammers for sledging or stonework.
